Purple Youth Entrepreneurship CSR is established by ChangeU International as a CSR initiative to sponsor, support, and develop young entrepreneurs.
Purple Youth Entrepreneurship CSR (PYE) is set up to inspire, guide and mentor our youth to be real Entrepreneurs while in college - mentored by Veteran Entrepreneurs from Wentures Capital and MoVsha International Speakers Bureau.
Under-Graduates will be exposed to Industry Leaders & Business Veterans who will share their wisdom, experience and funding in order to create new unique product categories and a create a virtual Silicon Valley within universities.
Internship volunteers are needed for 1-3 months PYE Internship throughout the year.

The Story of Purple Youth CSR

Purple Youth CSR is the love brainchild of Robert Chaen, who is passionate about helping youths to realize their life goals and to fulfill their passion, purpose and meaning in life.
Robert became an entrepreneur at the age of 31. He had to rise above and beyond his father’s shadow who advised him from young not to be like him as he lost his small investments of a few thousand ringgits in two business startups. One was a tiny tin mine operations in Sungei Siput with his cousin. The second is a pawn shop in Tapah with Chee Choy, a close Distributor which Robert’s Grandma also invested about one thousand ringgit. It only lasted a year. Robert’s late Dad advised him that his father is not a tycoon like Robert Kuok, so he can’t help, rescue, or fund any of my new businesses. They say the path to hell is full of good people with good, and well-meaning intentions. The twist of good fortune is two of Robert’s older siblings also became entrepreneurs. Tom, the eldest brother, runs a vegetarian restaurant with a staff of a dozen in Siem Reap, Cambodia near the Angkor Wat. Andrew, the third brother finally opened his beauty and anti-aging clinic in Causeway Bay, after his retirement from the Hong Kong Department of Health, after pondering for years about starting his own doctor clinic. But his biggest fear was the potential conflict of medical opinions among doctors in the partnership, and he didn’t want to go solo as he would be tied for long hours and little leave had he gone solo. Robert will act as the Social Enterprise Turnkey or Turnaround CEO, and will PASS ON the whole operations and develop the most suitable Youth Key Leaders for the Social Enterprises he established under the Purple Youth CSR initiative umbrella. He will then act an Mastermind Advisor to the various Startup CEO Leaders. |
