Hong Kong, August 14, 2023 – International AI Association (IAA), the leading global AI association, proudly appoints Victor Foo as International Vice President (Hospitality).

As the Principal Spokesperson for AI-relevant Hospitality matters, Victor's role encompasses lifelong AI education, ethical AI advocacy, government HR - Hospitality advisory, and connecting local and international Hospitality and AI communities.

Victor Foo has over 40 years of senior hotelier experience, and is well respected as an industry leader in the hospitality sector. Foo served as the longest serving VP in the world's largest hotel, for 11 years. His last job was managing 4 hotels in Resorts World Genting as Vice President Hotel Operations.

He assumes his role on August 14, 2023, marking a significant milestone following the successful Soft Launch of the International AI Association on July 29, 2023.

Mr. Robren, the Founding President, expressed his unwavering confidence in Victor's leadership and stated that the association plans to expand its team by recruiting International Vice Presidents to lead industry-specific divisions and Country Vice Presidents across 30 countries.

IAA is poised to collaborate with leading AI-related industry players, including AI University, BorneoHunter AI Talent Search, Movsha AI Speakers Bureau, Ployee AI Skills Assessment Tools, and Hotelfinity AI Solutions.

Mr. Robren emphasized IAA's mission to establish AI Departments across organizations of all sizes, playing a pivotal role in identifying and integrating AI-Intelligent employees to boost performance.

Victor Foo shares the vision of "blending heartfelt AI with hospitality's human touch".

“I intend to work closely with national hotel associations including Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) to jointly provide specialist AI masterclasses such as "How to Set Up The New AI Department in Hotels" to its members. It’s something passionate for me to pass on as a legacy to the young generation out there through International AI Association.” 

Foo holds a Masters in International Hospitality Management, from Taylor’s University & University of Toulouse Le Mirail.
