Diamond Leader Tools​

Call and share with your Learning Buddy how your day is going.
And share at least 1 point how you are APPLYING Diamond Leader Principles, Skills, and Ideas.

Week #1 Theme: Recap     #DiamondLeader
L.A.S.T. = Learn-Apply-Share-Teach. 
Recap with your Learning Buddy the main points on "How to Polish the Diamond Leader Within"; and to reinforce on what you would do differently from now onwards.
Week #2 Theme for Diamond Leader:  Choose and Play a few Character Leadership Roles
Exercise: Choose and play a few Character Roles in the following weeks that you’ll be most inspired to be the passionate, the best, and brings the most rewards.
 
The following examples are just suggestions to help you decide on your roles:
[ ] Movie / TV Character: Yoda, Hans Solo, 007 James Bond, Ocean Eleven, McGiver, Harry Potter
[ ] Singer / Actor: Bruce Lee, Ipman, Jet Li, Siti Nurhaliza, Stephen Chow, Bono, Beyonce, Al Pacino
[ ] SuperHero: Ironman-Tony Stark, Ironman-Tony Stark, Batman, Spiderman, Incredible Hulk
[ ] Animation: Snoopy, Garfield, KungFu Panda, Mulan, Lion King, Bart Simpson, SpongeBob, Betty Boop, Alvin the Chipmunk, Wonder Woman
[ ] Character role: Wizard (magic), Godfather (tough), Doctor (healing, remedies), Army General (art of war), Actor, Justice Pao
[ ] Animal: Chameleon (change), Wolf (teacher), Owl (wisdom), Eagle (vision), Lion, Dragon, Tiger, Dog (loyalty), Dolphin, Bat (rebirth)
[ ] Religious Leader: Guru Nanak, Mohammad, Buddha, Jesus Christ, Joan of Arc  
[ ] Famous Leader/ CEO: Steve Jobs, Jack Ma, Bill Gates, Oprah, Lee Kuan Yew, Gandhi, Mandela, Alexander The Great , Walt Disney, King Arthur, Wizard Robert Chaen (just checking if you are reading haha), Braveheart
Week #3 Theme Diamond Leader:  5Rs Motivation
Meet up preferably face-to-face or at least Skype/Video Whatsapp with your Learning Buddy, empower and inspire each other to new heights of achievement.
Of course, you can encourage other Diamond Leaders as well.
 
Revise your original Workbook on the 5Rs Motivation Method (page 16)
Discuss about any Bad Practices vs. BEST Practices in motivation.

Week #4 Diamond Leader Follow-Up Program: 4Cs
 
To polish the raw “diamond” manager into a brilliant diamond leader, you need the 4Cs of a Polished Diamond Leader.
 
I use the analogy of the 4Cs of a diamond as the 4 criteria of leadership:
Color:
Color is about developing your character, personal style, and self confidence.
Clarity:
Clarity is about giving clear directions, expressing a clear vision of the company’s purpose (vision, mission, and values), encouraging transparency in your policies and strategies, and instilling a sense of curiosity like that of the Generation Y and Z.
Carat:
Carat is about having the courage to be heavyweight in handling tough situations and high level clients, and thinking like a senior management.
Cut: Cut is about polishing the raw diamond through lifelong learning and personal effectiveness.
